SHS Speaker Series #4: “Tell the Stories: 100 Years of St John the Divine” Apr 11

St John the Divine Anglican Church was founded in Squamish by Rev Allan Greene and with help from William Mashiter and others 100 years ago in July 1913. This year the members and friends of St John's are celebrating their Centennial and looking forward to connecting with the Squamish Historical Society and others in preparation for Squamish's 50th year of the incorporation as the District of Squamish in 2014.

Glenne will speak about how she and her husband Ron built a cutting edge aircraft, flew it across North America and won a design award in Oshkosh Wisconsin.

The festival will get underway Fri. Nov. 23 at 6:30 pm and on Sat. Nov. 24 between 9:30 am and 4:15 pm at Quest University with a broad range of activities, displays and presentations for the whole family. Please see attached documents for more details.

The SHS held its AGM and elections on April 12 at the Squamish Arts Council building on Cleveland Avenue.
